The client is responsible for any unpaid balance due to not having met his or her deductible, and for any unpaid balance in the event his/her insurer denies the claim for a session or sessions.

Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy or counseling mainly has three phases: information gathering; negotiating treatment goals; and the actual intervention. In your first two sessions, you and your counselor clarify what brings you to therapy or what is causing unhappiness; explore the future you want to see; set tangible treatment goals; and work towards achieving them. We often use the Skilled Helper Model in conjunction with other approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, etc. in our practice.
